Rabbi Bookstein's first kosher assignment was on a Polish farm in 1992. His adventures in making food kosher includes factories, restaurants, hotels, a presidential palace, artisan wine, beer and spirit production.
Rabbi Bookstein is Rav HaMachshir, Cal Kosher's Rabbinic Supervisor, ensuring all products meet strict standards. He was ordained at Ohr Somayach Yeshiva in Monsey, NY. where he studied under Rabbi Shraga Feivel Zimmerman. He is also a past student of Darche Noam Yeshiva in Jerusalem.
